The Cumberland Community Forest Society recently received a very generous donation from River Meadow Nursery when they closed their Piercy Road location (they are now located at 4738 Condensory Rd). This, in addition to the plants we had under our care for the postponed Spring Plant Sale has resulted in an amazing stock of perennials, feature trees, shrubs, hedges and more!

We’re going to host a Summer POP UP plant sale at 3300 Union Road in Cumberland on Saturday July 11th from 10-2 with 100% proceeds to the CCFS in support of land protection, restoration and conservation education projects in and around the Village of Cumberland.

What do we have? Assorted day lilies, salvia, yews, hazels, yellow bark dogwoods, cedars, spiraea, miniature dogwoods, fancy irises, weeping spruce and other feature trees in large pots and MUCH MORE.

PARKING: Is on Union Road, south facing side only please (across from entrance) Bring a wagon or wheelbarrow if you expect to buy lots, we’ll have some on hand as well. Volunteers will assist with vehicles loading at the end of the driveway. Please be cautious of traffic.

COVID safety measures? You bet! We will be
– limiting number of people on site at any time through a managed gate
– spaced plant inventory and flow direction
– masks encouraged for shoppers and volunteers
– dedicated cash handlers
– dedicated volunteers to support line ups, spacing and load outs
