Magician Travis Bernhardt

Elevate’s ‘Twisted Moonlight Cabaret’ a spicy add to Moonlight Magic

Nov 19, 2019 | Community | 0 comments

Elevate is presenting their first ever ” Après Moonlight” cabaret show on Friday November 22 at the Lower Elks Hall following Moonlight & Magic festivities throughout Downtown Courtenay!  The “Twisted Moonlight Cabaret” features sketch comedy, burlesque, dance, music and magic from local and visiting performers!

Take your Moonlight & Magic evening to the next level, enjoy the fantastic free activities throughout Downtown from 5-9 and then tuck away into the deep dark belly of the Elks Hall for a evening of entertainment that will delight, surprise and titillate all the senses!

Magic is central to the evenings theme with special guest Vancouver magician Travis Bernhardt joining the fun. An intuitive and wildly talented performer, Berhardt’s show is described best by the Georgia Straight. “By the end of his performance—and a bang-up ending it is; he really takes risks—the stage is happily littered with playing cards, little red balls, and shattered preconceptions of what a magician can do.”

Add to the program sketch comedy from local troupe “Discord”, performances by Layla Lushious, enchanting music from Fanfare and special guest dancers, clowns and poets and you have a night filled to the brim with laughter and delights!

$20 tickets are on sale now for Elevate’s Twisted Moonlight Cabaret at https://elevatethearts.tickit.ca/events/7867-twisted-moonlight-cabaret or follow the links on the facebook event. Doors open at 9 pm. Licensed. Show starts at 930.
