Project Watershed’s Annual General Meeting will be held at the Old House Hotel & Spa, 1730 Riverside Lane, Courtenay on May 25th from 2 – 4 pm. We’ll have an update on our restoration projects, education and outreach initiatives, the Kus-kus-sum project and its projected timeline. We are pleased to announce we have keynote speakers Tim Clermont, from the Mid Vancouver Island Habitat Enhancement Society, and Garreth Ashley, from the Guardians of Mid-Island Estuaries Society, They will be speaking about Carex restoration utilizing the Goose Exclusion Fencing, also known as the `nets along Dyke Road` that most people think are fish traps! We will give away some door prizes and have snacks and refreshments on hand.
