“There are thousands and thousands of people out there living lives of quiet, screaming desperation who work long hard hours, at jobs they hate, to enable them to buy things they don’t need to impress people they don’t like.”

 – Nigel Marsh

Money is an energy that very few of us understand and, with retrospect, most of us fear.

We fear the lack of “it”.

I am happy to say that many more people in this next generation are waking up and empowering themselves simply by getting “clear” about the fact that money is a tool, not a destination. I have included Adam Baker’s presentation at a TEDx Talk event for your viewing pleasure. In less than 20 minutes, he asks and answers one of life’s most important questions, “What does freedom mean to you”?

I answer that question this way. In my case, it means to explore my life as a smorgasbord of opportunities. When I have been fearless on my path, money has presented itself to help manifest my vision. When I have lost my way, doubted myself or let others dictate my feelings, then confusion and debt shortly followed.

Out of thin air, we have created what we now call an economy. If we “buy” into the illusion of lack, then we fall prey to our fears. When we are deliberate in our choices, then we manifest the life we were truly born to live.
