Fair Vote BC’s call for a Day of Action is being answered by Fair Vote Comox Valley on Saturday, April 21 from 10:00 to 12:00 on the NE side of the 17th Street bridge. Help us raise our banner and public awareness about BC’s upcoming referendum on electoral reform.
Are you concerned about your student loan debt? Do you need access to affordable housing? Do you want the province to act now to curb climate change? Are you frustrated by politicians who care more about staying in power than the needs of voters?
These are just some of the issues that proportional representation helps resolve.
Come out and join other like-minded people who feel that changing BC’s electoral system is necessary. We have information to share and signs to hold. Let’s see how many honks we can get as cars drive by.
The Day of Action also includes canvassers heading out to Puntledge to speak with voters later in the day. Look for us at the Farmer’s Market. We may be there as well.
But Fair Vote Comox Valley’s action doesn’t stop there. If your group wants to learn more about proportional representation, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for a speaker.
