Celebrate our regions history and heritage at the 16th annual Cumberland Heritage Faire! Explore a wide range of displays featuring local histories, genealogy, traditional craft making, antique tools, demonstrations, and so much more. Enjoy musical entertainment for the entire family from local favourites including the Old Time Fiddlers, Time for Uke, and the Barbershop Quartet. Stop by the concession for a homemade lunch. The Faire takes place 10am – 4pm in the Cumberland OAP Hall and Cultural Centre at 1st Street and Dunsmuir Avenue. Admission is by donation. The Cumberland Museum is open by donation between 10am – 5pm on Saturday, February 17th in celebration of Heritage Day. Visit the exhibits, and witness the blessing of the Kumugwe mask by K’omoks and Kwakwaka’wakw artist Karver Everson at 11am. Check our website for further details: . Participants of all ages are invited to walk a labyrinth illuminated with candle lit glass and paper lanterns, a unique ancient tradition. The labyrinth runs between 10am to 4pm in the Cumberland Cultural Centre at 1st Street and Dunsmuir Avenue. At 6:15pm gather for the annual Lantern Parade leaving from the Village Square (3rd Street) and proceeding to Village Park.
