Friends, great news!

A generous supporter has offered to match all donations made to the Comox Valley Art Gallery before midnight, Dec. 31.

That means if you donate $200, the gallery will get $400.

We will put your donation — of any size — toward an amazing exhibition next summer.

Partnering with the Kumugwe Cultural Society, we will present “67/67” – an exhibition that will mark the 67th year since the Potlatch was banned by the Canadian government for 67 years.

More than a dozen artists from here and around BC will present work about the ramifications of this intense cultural suppression, and the resilience of reclaiming the practice.

It is an ambitious and challenging project — your donation will go a long way toward making it a success. And it comes with a generous income tax receipt.

Please, donate today. Our benefactor will match all donations up to $2,000 – for a total of $4,000 to help present a powerful and important exhibition this summer.

Thanks so much. Whether you give $5 or $500, it’s donations like yours that make it all possible.
