5-8pm Drop-in featuring snacks, discounts + all-ages artmaking
7pm Opening remarks and artist talk with Cynthia Minden
7:30pm Cake party to honour CVAG’s volunteers

Warm greetings to everyone as we enter the festive season.

Our Winter Program opens Friday, and we hope you can join us to celebrate the 43rd Annual Christmas Craft Fair, the window exhibition “look over look” by Cynthia Minden, and a display of the design brief for artwork at the new North Island Hospital. We will also be honouring our volunteers with cake and refreshments following an artist talk. We’re always recruiting new volunteers, so let us know if you’d like to join the CVAG team.

The evening’s activities include a drop-in from 5 to 8pm. We’ll serve snacks and warm cider, we’ll offer discounts on items in the craft fair (15% for members, 10% for non-members), and all-ages workshops on the art of making cord.

In other CVAG news, we’re pleased to announce that there will be a Dec. 15 screening of “Reelization“, a collection of short films produced by participants in the Youth Media Project. We are also accepting applications for the next Youth Media Project, which runs from Jan. 15 to April 3.

And passes are now available for the 2018 CVAG Winter Film Series, which will run from Jan. 14 to March 25.
