Thank you for this very informative and interesting history from Flo Bell. She has remembered more than most of us know, and such a gracious lady. Nice going on the music too; well done on all counts.

admin does most postings because theme is being tested (and is therefore "open" only to senior eds). Am aware of the change required, but see no reason to do so. Keeps things simple. The buck stops here regardless. - Ed

Since everything's posted by admin it seems redundant. Changing it would involve a small change to the Wordpress theme you're using.

The "admin" indicates who posted the article. Letters to the Editor have the author's name posted at the bottom.

I have a technical web site question. Why can't the author's submission appear at the top? Instead it says "by admin". I find this confusing.

Right on Angela. I'd like to share something with you on a similar vein, a quote I keep posted by my computer:
"When I give talks about energy, the audience already knows about the problems. So I don't talk about the problems, only solutions. But after a while, during the question period, someone in the back will get up and give a long riff about all the bad things that are happening - most of which are basically true. There's only one way I've found to deal with that. After this person calms down, I gently ask whether feeling that way makes him feel more effective??

What? Would someone one explain to me what that I just read? They are going to spend more money on what? More talking and meetings?

I hate these press releases. That last paragraph really sucks.

PLAIN ENGLISH please.

Thanks for your, as always, thoughtful comments Ray. However I prefer to call myself a radical in the good sense of the word. Someone who is not afraid to speak out against the dominant culture, someone who is pushing herself to live a life with a smaller footprint, someone who will not let this pipeline happen. Those of us with radical conservative values are united in opposition to this ghastly project.
And the rest of the country and the world is starting to wake up, I believe.
